Our Missionaries Currently Abroad

Along with a brief bio, we will include prayer needs, their birthday along with an email address and mailing address (when applicable). We can support our missionaries through prayer, cards and letters of encouragement. Most of our missionaries send frequent email updates.  If you want to be part of this exciting ministry, please email the missionary to be added to their list.  Their emails are both insightful and delightful.

Carol Carder currently serving the Lord in Istanbul, Turkey

Carol answered the call Randy and Bonnie Wasche sent from David Byle of Operation Mobilization in Istanbul.  She would be working with children teaching them English using a Christian curriculum called Accelerated Christian Education.   She is to be in Turkey until the end of June 2010.

A brief background on Carol: She has always had an interest in languages and cultures.  She has a BA in English and French with a teaching certification.  Carol currently earns her living as a freelance writer.

Prayer needs: Lies are the accepted way of life, teachers may be forced to look the other way as students cheat as good grades are important. We need prayers that the Christians here, from children in schools to the workers in the field, are a light in the darkness, that through friendship and love they bring many into the fold.

Individual prayer need: Adjusting to living with a family after being independent for years. Carol would prefer a different living arrangement.

Carol's birthday: April 28th

Email address: wellness316@gmail.com
